Hypocrisy the mask you hide behide

The young man was at the end of his rope. Seeing no way out, he dropped to his knees in prayer. "Lord, I can't go on," he said. "I have too heavy a cross to bear." The Lord replied, "My son, if you can't bear it's weight, just place your cross inside this room. Then open another door and pick any cross you wish." The man was filled with relief. "Thank you, Lord," he sighed, and did as he was told. As he looked around the room he saw many different crosses; some so large the tops were not visible. Then he spotted a tiny cross leaning against a far wall. "I'd like that one, Lord," he whispered. And the Lord replied, "My son, that's the cross you brought in."

Oh how the Lord helps opened the doors of heaven and supplied all our needs,
healed us,strengthened and comforted us and we showed all our unfaithfulness in all it's worst form by our thoughts, words and deeds.
Whenever we had a chance we put him to shame, we just went about doing it.Literally we kept crucifying him again and again. We acted holy and pious perhaps defeating the Pharisees.

We dress up in black, cover our heads and weep during Good Friday Service especially when the song "GOD OF MERCY AND COMPASSION "is sung.
Many of us even fast on Good Friday.
We act like faithful followers of the Lord and yet in our hearts we love wickedness ,but in our words we embrace the Lord.
My dear sisters
Ask yourself these questions
  1. How many times have you accused  and degraded  your husband of following the wrong teachings just because you are a born again and he remains a Catholic?
  2. How many times have you neglected your brother just because he was a drunkard at one time ?
  3. How many times have you said that I'll bake cheap cakes for the orphans but I'll only give my children the best.
  4. How many times have you looked down on  your own  sister just because you feel that she is a "goner"?
  5. Have you ever had someone who you thought was a close friend turn on you, while in front of you, he/she said nice things about or to you? Or, have you ever done this to a friend of yours?
My dear sisters  I know that you Love the Lord but to love him with all your heart is to be willing to let go of your old self.

The Lord empties us from vessel into vessel. This saying uses the illustration of making wine. Grape juice is put in a bottle. It begins to ferment, and the sediment settles to the bottom. As the fermentation takes place, and the sediment settles out, it is emptied into a new vessel. The sediment is left behind. Each time this is done, the sediment becomes smaller and less. Yet, it must be emptied again and again because each time the sediment is left behind, and the result is sweet wine.

As the Lord brings us through another trial and another, each time He empties us from vessel into vessel. Each time He empties us a little further because the sediment in the bottom becomes less and less. Sometimes it comes to the point when the Lord begins to empty us that we begin to wonder how empty we can get. The Lord empties us to where there is nothing left of man.

Here's a little prayer you might want to join me in.

"Lord, I don't like to say it to you but please reveal my hypocrisy to me. I don't want to pretend to be something I am not. I want to be the real thing before you and all men. According to your Word, you can't really hide anything anyway - it's all going to come out. So I want it to come out now just between you and me.

As the Holy Spirit reveals areas of hypocrisy in your life, admit them and tell God you are sorry.  If you do that now you can expect a much nicer outcome.
