What the Lord Taught me-The storms in life
What The Lord has taught me- "The storms in life"

“How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? (Psalm 13:2)
My friends, I write this message for so many of you that are feeling literally torn apart by painful trials. Have you ever asked "When will this end? When will I get through this trial?" Trust me, I have asked this many times maybe more than you. You think you're all done with one trial, you clean your hands off and you're praising God that you're through with that storm. Then, before you know it, another wave comes in and knocks you off your feet.
Maybe at this moment you are in one of three storm categories; either you just came out of a one, or you are in a one right now, or you are headed into one. Such as it is with crises, they cannot be escaped, even if you hide in the storm shelter it is still there pounding away!
I speak about crisis and trials because they were my shadows. Unexpected crisis were part of my life..they were like storms. Sometimes I had to deal with a Category 1 storm but most of the time it was a Category 5.(the worst of storms). All these years when there were storms in my life I would cry out to God and say WHY ME? How much more must I go through?I prayed for it to stop but nothing happened ..the storms were getting bigger .
I still experience storms in my life but the only difference is I can deal with them now, it's not as painful as it used to be.. Why is it different now?The day I asked God 'WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS' and not 'WHY ME 'my situation started to change.
This is an illustration about how God strengthens us during trials. “Do you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks? The eagle will fly to high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle does not escape the storm; it simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm. When the storms of life come upon us, we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us; we can allow God's power to lift us above them. God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure, and disappointment into our lives. We can soar above the storm. “Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.”
God has bottled every tear you have shed, received every cry of your heart, and listened attentively to every prayer you have spoken. You can rest assured that if you are going through a hot furnace of affliction at this very moment, God is right there with you and will see you through this difficult time. He has a purpose for everything He allows; and for every difficult trial you encounter, God gives special grace. If you will cry out to Him, He will pour His strength into you. Remember don't ask God 'WHY' but ask him 'What do you want me to learn from this' ?
Shalom
