I am there

Image
Do you need Me? I am there. You cannot see Me, yet I am the light you see by. You cannot hear Me, yet I speak through your voice. You cannot feel Me, yet I am the power at work in your hands. I am at work, though you do not understand My ways. I am at work, though you do not recognize My works. I am not strange visions. I am not mysteries. Only in absolute stillness, beyond self, can you know Me as I am, and then but as a feeling and a faith. Yet I am there. Yet I hear. Yet I answer. When you need Me, I am there. Even if you deny Me, I am there. Even when you feel most alone, I am there. Even in your fears, I am there. Even in your pain, I am there. I am there when you pray and when you do not pray. I am in you, and you are in Me. Only in your mind can you feel separate from Me, for only in your mind are the mists of “yours” and “mine.” Yet only with your mind can you know Me and experience Me. Empty your heart of empty fears. When you get yours

Jesus and the storm within me

Image
Today I'll share what happened to me this morning.I was fast asleep and my daughter who was also asleep beside me started crying,so I woke up and gave her some milk, cleaned her and went back to to bed. I heard a calm voice that asked " WHERE IS YOUR FAITH "? At once I knew it was THE LORD.I IMMEDIATELY KNEW WHY I WAS ASKED THAT QUESTION.The whole morning I was so troubled and there was a storm within me. The Lord reminded me of the time the apostles held on for dear life when their boat was tossed in the rough sea. The disciples struggle to keep their boat from capsizing. Finally, they turn to Jesus in anger, crying out, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are going to drown?” As they look to Him, they find Him sleeping on a cushion, in the back of the boat. When we finally turn to Jesus, we too angrily cry out, “Lord, don’t you care?” As we look to Him, we find Him resting. We wonder, “How can He rest at a time like this?” In times of disappointment, hear

When God Prays

Image
Have you ever wondered what kind of prayer God would ever pray? You heard it right, I am talking about God’s prayer, and you’re definitely not reading an article from an atheist, but from a sinner who truly believes in the Living God. I believe in God. I believe He listens to our every prayer. But the real question is, do we ever listen when God prays? My beloved, why do you cry? Why do you fill your heart with gloom and hopelessness? Why do you hide from me? Why do you bear this burden that is not yours? Was the night so long you never thought it would surrender to another sunrise? Was the winter too cold you never thought you could feel warm ever again? I am deeply troubled with your troubles. I am utterly concerned that I could not sleep. I know your wounds for they are mine as well. I know your tears and I would like to take them away. No reply. My beloved, it’s been so long since I heard your voice; so long since you poured out your heart to me. How I long to hear them once

A blessed generation or a cursed generation

Image
Godly men and women leave a legacy of blessing for generations to come. the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed” - Psalm 112:1-2. Never has this been more graphically illustrated than in the life of Jonathan Edwards. Jonathan Edwards (born 1703) was a man wholly devoted to Jesus Christ. At age 17 he married 13 year-old Sarah Pierpont. On their wedding night they committed their marriage to the Lord. By 1900, their descendants included 300 clergymen (pastors, missionaries and theologians), 100 attorneys, 60 judges (one dean of a law school), 60 doctors (one dean of a medical school), 60 authors of fine classics, 100 professors and 14 presidents of universities, 3 mayors of large cities, 3 state governors, a controller of the US Treasury and a Vice-President of America who became President Theodore Rooseveldt. Just as we can bring blessing upon our descendants, so t

Words are the most powerful agents of the mind

Today I  have selected some affirmations from May's Rowland's notebook especially for you, ideas she lived by and followed in her daily life, with the hope that you will be abundantly blessed as you use some of these powerful ideas in your own life. May Rowland was the director of Silent Unity, the worldwide prayer ministry of the Unity movement, for over fifty years. She was a vibrant person with a fresh and vigorous approach to life, one who lived life to the fullest, a person we knew and loved. ---------------------------- To Develop Your Potential ---------------------------- I see myself as God sees me, glorious, splendid, beloved, strong, well, and capable. I see the world as a beautiful place in which to grow and work and play. Through the power of the Christ within me I revive my ability to live happily, to give good service generously, and to inspire those who, like me, are growing and working and playing. ------------------------- To Re

The Home Blessing

Image
I hope you will  enjoy using  this special home blessing for yourself. The blessing is adapted from The Consecration of the Room, an out-of-print pamphlet written by Mary Brewerton De Witt. I  suggest that you print out this page so that you may read it aloud more comfortably when you are speaking the words of the  prayer blessing.   Sit calmly in the room and speak these words aloud: There is only one presence in this home. This one presence is the presence of God, or good. No evil can enter here. There is no evil in God. God, the good, dwells here. Whoever enters here will be conscious of the one divine presence of good. There is only one presence here. This presence is the presence of life. There is no death here, nor fear of death. There is only life here. All fear is cast out. Whoever enters here will be conscious of this life, the pure, holy life of God. There is only one presence here. This presence is the presence of Truth. No untrue thing can enter
