A Broken Vessel

Image
JJj JThe holiest man in human history, judged as the worst man in Hebrew history, died a shameful and painful death. He wrote no letters, he appointed no scribes, he started no committees, he never made a schedule to be kept, he never announced a meeting in advance, he never promoted or joined any organization, and he left behind no manual as to how his disciples were to proceed. He did everything against what human wisdom would demand for success, yet, by becoming a broken vessel, he became the author and finisher of salvation for all those who believe. Jesus was a broken vessel! God can only work through those who have waited long enough to be broken. God cannot operate through people, even the most dedicated, who follow their own ideas and pursue the path of convenience. God is looking for a people who have become nothing so he can become everything! No matter what you’ve done, no matter what condition you’re in right now, God wants you. The starting point is to let go of your

Ready for Revival

Image
Many so-called Holy Ghost movements have vanished quickly because they were man-centered—focusing on gifts, self-improvement, personal happiness, and not in reaching a lost and dying world! God is raising up people who are focused on His will for this midnight hour! They are tired of living in a wilderness of mere survival. All they want is to know and do God’s will. Every member of this last-days army must be ready and prepared in heart—because God is poised to release His great, final outpouring! His last-days work through big-name evangelists or pastors. They alone will not be able to handle the great moving of His Spirit! The fact is, God is going to need every housewife, teenager, elderly person and all who love Him to carry out His mighty work The church has seen almost 2,000 years of sowing and growing and it is now harvest time! All who have died in Christ up to now represent the first fruits or the early harvest. Jesus has not yet come because He has been waiting patie

What is in your hand?

Image
God says to him, "What is that in your hand?" God told Moses to take that staff and use it to perform miraculous signs with it. (Ex. 4:17). It wasn't the staff that had supernatural powers; the miracles came directly from God. But God wanted Moses to see that He would use the small thing he had to accomplish something BIG. What seemingly small thing do you have to offer God today? God says not to despise these things; He delights in seeing the work begin. Take that first step and offer what you have to God. Moses had a staff. David had a sling. Samson had a jawbone. Rahab had a string. Mary had some ointment. Aaron had a rod. Dorcas had a needle. All were used by God. What do you have...my dear beloved ? Much more than you might think. Be Blessed

GOD KNOWS WHAT IS BEST FOR US

Image
There are times when God takes things from us and other times when we pray for things we think we need and God does not give them to us. God’s best is not something to fear; He not only knows what is best for you, He wants you to have His best! If we truly believed this it would produce such rest, peace and joy in us! We would not grieve over letting go of things; we would know we’ve been set free from all bondage! We would say, “Lord, if You are taking this from me, it must mean You have something much better for me. So take it—You can have it!” And, in most cases, what we believe is best for us actually would ruin us! Never in the history of mankind has God taken anything from one of His children without bringing in something better, more beautiful, more fulfilling. Beloved, we need to rest in the loving hand of our Father! We need to come to the point of trust where we say, “I have a loving Father who wants the very best for me. He knows it all!” How did Job finally come to

The Storm and The Battle

Image
The Storm and the Battle Beloved ….are you in a storm right now ?The wind is blowing hard, shaking you violently, and you think you’re going down. Beloved, don’t panic! You’ve got to know that in the midst of the tempest, you are putting down deep spiritual roots. God is developing in you a deepening humility, a greater mourning and sorrow for sin, a heightened hunger for his righteousness. God is making you a seasoned soldier of the cross— You may get down on yourself at times—but the Lord never does. The fact is, he could have acted sovereignly at any time to pluck you out of your struggle. But he didn’t—because he saw it producing in you a greater thirst for him! A gem cannot be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials. Be Blessed Beth AK
